Auto Enrolment Services
The law on workplace pensions has changed. All employers must enroll their workforce into a pension scheme. The new law came into force in July 2012 and since that date larger employers have been registering their employees.
Now it is the turn of smaller employers and over the next few years each employer will have to start a process culminating in the enrolment of their workforce. The date upon which this enrolment happens is known as your staging date.
Both the employer and employee will have to make a minimum contribution into a pension scheme.
Initially, this is set at 0.8% (net of tax relief) for the employee and 1% for the employer, but over the next few years this will increase so that by October 2018 each employee in the scheme will pay a minimum of 4% with the employer contributing 3%.
The first thing you need to do is find out when your staging date. From there you can create a plan leading to the auto enrolment of your employees.
We can assist you in starting out on the road to your staging date and support you throughout the process. Once you have staged we can help you to keep up to date with the contributions to your chosen pension scheme.
